The Adventure Begins

Talon Lodge and Spa is set on our private island offering spectacular views of Mt. Edgecumbe, the Sitka shoreline, and the magnificent scenery of Alaska’s Inside Passage. This Alaska luxury resort offers Southeast Alaska’s most stunning view. The Alaska lodge is fully equipped with luxury resort amenities, private spa facility and a full gourmet kitchen to serve Talon Lodge guests.

The luxury lodge accommodations offer private rooms for two or 3-bedroom cabins that accommodate up to six guests. We designed our guest rooms to accommodate groups of varying size. All accommodations are designed for double occupancy.

Once you arrive in Sitka, we’ll take it from there. We’ll meet you at Rocky Gutierrez International Airport and transport you to our Private Island Resort, a mere 5 minute drive and 15-minute boat trip away. Once you’re settled into your accommodations, you’ll find that we’ve thought of everything. One of our comfortable charter fishing boats, well stocked with tackle, bait, lures, rain gear and a special lunch, will be waiting and ready for you the next morning.

With the aid of our experienced guides, your Alaska fishing trip will start somewhere around 7 a.m. (no need to get up at the crack of dawn, the fish will still be there) to 4:30 p.m. each day. You will then return to the lodge for a gourmet dinner prepared by a skilled culinary team.  You’ll also enjoy the Talon Lodge Beach Bar, which has been named “One of the Best Beach Bars in America”.

Just when you think nothing could compare to the day’s fishing and your gourmet feast, you step out onto the deck and take in a view of the Alaskan wilderness that surpasses anything you’ve ever seen.
